In the eDemocracy token economy, “decision-making” is the central economic event.

A "group decision" is a specific, discrete event with various stages - starting with the articulation of a question or the recognition of a problem, to ideation, engagement, deliberation, voting, aggregation and ratification. There are many other types of activities surrounding collaboration that are not group decision-making (such as getting the job done!) or involve decision-making in small groups at an informal way. Our focus however is on formal decision-making as the starting point of collaboration around which other collaboration activities can be understood.

Ethelo Decision processes will be integrated into governance and operational systems of client DAOs. These decision processes will be like joints connecting the (heuristically rigid) smart contract components of an operating DAO. These decision processes will vary greatly in complexity and repeatability depending on context and need.
