Someone who participates on Ethelo.

Citizens

All participants can register to earn Thelo by engaging in and supporting Ethelo decision processes. Registration requires participants to authenticate their humanity by becoming a Citizen of eDemocracy DAO. All humans will have a right to be a Citizen of eDemocracy DAO.

Members

Citizens who want to fill Roles within eDemocracy DAO must become Members of eDemocracy Coop. Members can vote in governance processes and invest in the Coop. Members will have the right to vote for at least 80% of Directors on a one-vote-per-share basis.

Investors

eDemocracy Coop will issue investment shares, known as “Klismos” (see below). Klismos may be purchased with Thelos or cash. Investors must be Members or, in the event of an organizational investor, be represented by a Member or Member(s). Klismos owners will be entitled to vote for up to 20% of the Directors and may participate in other governance decisions in particular eDemocracy Grant processes.

Partners

Partners will include other Web3 organizations that require tools for making online, decentralized decisions. Partners will need to put up Thelos to use the eDemocracy Platform (the Decision Stake).

Thelo

Thelo is the native currency of eDemocracy DAO.

Decision Stake

To use the eDemocracy Platform, it is necessary to put up a some of Thelos (Decision Stake). The amount of Thelos that are required for a Decision Stake depends on the tools needed to complete the decision-making process (e.g. the Decision Contract used and related services which may be required).
